The main idea is to enter the trade when there is slight uptrend. I have tested many and found some which works out with some level of consistencies. The EXIT is based on how successful my ENTRY is. So all my concentration is towards ENTRY of the trade. The stock market will always lose its traction when ever there is a slight negative news. But for a bull trend to happen there needs to be very solid positive news/event. So I am pretty sure on buying during small momentums and building my profits slowly.
Types of stocks
This is another key point on making a winning trade. I concentrate on high volume 3x leveraged stocks, mainly TQQQ and TNA. There are others also I have tried and they work as expected. Both these 2 stocks align together well. When a trade in TQQQ is in progress there are no signals in TNA and vice versa. What I mean is that I get 2 trades within a span of small timeframe with these stocks. Also since they are 3x so when there is a small momentum they reach my 0.1% profit target easily.
Another data point I consider is current value of stock. I concentrate on stocks which are greater than $50. For any stocks less than $50 I had seen the orders getting partially executed. It might be due to the order flow/system interactions at TradeStation. But this hinders my “edge” and I totally want to avoid that happening. Thats the reason I didn’t choose SQQQ with TQQQ or any Bull/Bear pairs.
